I hold a PhD in plant molecular biology (McGill) and a BSc (combined honours) in Chemistry/Biology (York). After several years of post-doctoral
research on the molecular biology of Aspergillus niger and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Concordia) I decided to take some time off to
develop the skills required of a bio-informatics scientist. This web site is one result of my studies and a proving ground for my programs.
I am working in DOS and Unix (linux) environments and use Visual Basic, C, Perl, Java, and HTML. Recently I have been investigating relational databases (Oracle) and structured query languages.
Feedback (especially constructive criticism and suggestions for program development) is always welcome.
