MUT'n'CUT (beta testing)
Identifies Unique Restriction Enzyme Sites Generated by Single Nucleotide Mutation.
The purpose of MUT'n'CUT is to define the location in a user-defined sequence
of nucleotide changes which would generate unique restriction enzyme recognition
sites. Furthermore, the program determines the effects the nucleotide mutation
would have were it to occur within an open reading frame (ORF). This permits
the researcher to introduce convenient cut sites while minimizing changes to the
gene product; thereby minimizing deleterious effects in the organism.
This version of MUT'n'CUT does not consider mutations resulting from changes to
more than one nucleotide.
Sequence contains:
NO introns
ONE or MORE introns
